Hvar is one of the most popular islands in Croatia, situated off the Croatian mainland, between Brac Island and Korcula island. The island is known for its exceptionally mild climate, lavender fields and beautiful Pakleni islands archipelago. Most popular places on the Island are Hvar Town and Jelsa. Visiting Hvar is convenient as the island has quite a few car ferry and fast catamaran ferry connections with Split, Dubrovnik and Rijeka as well as with neighboring islands.
