Badija Island Ferries

Badija, an isle off the island of Korcula, settled in the 14th century when Bosnian Franciscans built a monastery there. The Monastery underwent reconstruction in the 15th and 16th centuries and the most recent one in the 2000s. The most interesting part of the monastery is the cloister surrounded by a late Gothic colonnade, completed in 1478. The facade of the church features a tympanum, a semi-circular relief and rosette, all made by craftsmen from Korcula. An interesting islet for a day trip from Korcula island also features a couple of beaches and a restaurant.
