Kolocep Island Ferries

Island of Kolocep
Kolocep is a small isle in Dubrovnik archipelago (also called Elafite Isles) which lays just 3 nautical miles away from Dubrovnik's busy port of Gruz. Inhabited since antiquity, the island has two villages - Gornje and Donje Celo with about 300 permanent inhabitants. On the island, you will find several small churches that feature medieval and Romanesque paintworks as well as a 13th-century parish church with lovely baroque bell-tower. If you visit the island, don't miss the beautiful sandy beach located in Donje Celo bay. The island is well connected by ferries all year round and is an easy day-trip destination if you are visiting the area.
