I am planning a trip to Croatia next August. I see many ferries from Split to Dubrovnik. I would like to travel on the slow ferry, if I buy a ticket from Split to Dubrovnik, can I get off at stops like Brac, Hvar, Korcula, Mljet etc and look around, maybe stay overnight before continuing the trip?

If I pay a short visit en route to the ultimate destination (Split or Dubrovnik) will I have to buy individual tickets (it is very expensive this way)
    Thank you for any help

I am planning on visiting Croatia this summer.

I am wondering if we can leave Dubrovnik on the early morning high speed ferry (7:30 ish) ; get off at Korcula; spend the day there and then get on a ferry in the late afternoon heading to Split.

Would that be one ferry company or two?

    Thank you!

Hi Mary, you can do this with three ferry companies: TP Line, Jadrolinija and/or Krilo.
Their fast ferries are very similar (as in below photo one).

All options are bookable via a specific crossing page – just click on the orange booking button and proceed with the date and destination selection.

We will be traveling to Croatia this coming September, getting from Dubrovnik to Split by ferry.

Is it possible to get off the ferry on one of the islands and catch a later one with the same ticket providing it is on the same day?

Chris, if you intend to stop on any of the islands en route to Split or Dubrovnik, you would have to pay for individual tickets.

My friend and I will be visiting Croatia in May. On the 22nd May we would like to catch a ferry from Split to Dubrovnik with a possible stop off for 2-3 hours in Korcula. Can you please advise if there is another ferry we can catch to Dubrovnik around 2pm? Thanks Linda

Linda, In May you can get:

07:30 ferry Split to Korcula (arrive 09:50) https://www.croatiaferries.com/split-korcula-ferry.htm#May
12:20 ferry Korcula to Dubrovnik (arrive 14:35) https://www.croatiaferries.com/korcula-dubrovnik-ferry.htm#May

12:20 is the last ferry to Dubrovnik from Korcula in May. In June, there are more afternoon ferries..

Thanks for your reply. I’ve some further questions:

    • does the ferry dock at Korcula town?
    • Will this give us enough time about 2 hours to have a quick look around the korcula town and return back to the ferry terminal?
    • Does the ferry to Dubrovnik leave from the same port we departed from?
    • I understand there are lockers for you to store your luggage at the ferry terminal is that correct?
      Thanks
