Ferry from Rijeka to Novalja, Pag and connection-bus to Zadar

We are planning a trip trough Croatia where we want to travel with the ferry from Rijeka to Novalja an then we would travel to Zadar. We have seen that the ferry arrives 17.40 in Novalja https://www.croatiaferries.com/rijeka-novalja-ferry.htm and the Bus from Novalja to Zadar leaves 17.50 https://www.travel-file.com/novalja-zadar-buses.htm . Do you know if this connection does work in one part, so we could travel from Rijeka to Zadar via Novalja in one day (few hours) ..?

I am not exactly sure but I believe this connection works fine. Most of the ferries are usually connected by buses.

Next summer I will visit Novalja. I travel by bus to Rijeka and then I have to get to the Pag island, Novalja.
My bus will arrive at 5:30 in the morning of the 21 th of june.
What is the fastest way to get from Rijeka to Novalja by ferry? Is there any schedule?
