Is there a ferry line from Rovinj to Zadar? I checked but could not find the route https://www.croatiaferries.com/rovinj-ferry-port.htm

Once I arrive in Rovinj how would I go from there to Zadar?

Is Rovinj-Rijeka-Zadar bus best option? Does it mean I would take the bus from Rovinj to Rijeka, then go by another bus to Zadar, changing twice?

It seems like a very long journey unless I am missing something.

I am considering booking a flight to Pula and flying back home from Zadar.

Going by bus is very long indeed:
    Rovinj >> 04:40 > Rijeka >>07:30
waiting in Rijeka 1 hour 30 minutes
    Rijeka >> 09:00 > Zadar >> 13:40

The shortest way to get from Rovinj to Zadar is by 4.5 hours ferry crossing from Pula:

1 – bus from Rovinj to Pula (40 minutes, 8 Euro one way) https://www.arriva.com.hr/
2 – ferry from Pula to Zadar (4.5 hours, 27 Euro one way) https://www.croatiaferries.com/pula-zadar-ferry.htm

Thank you, I’m now considering taking that ferry but I’m really worried about the rough weather and bad sea sickness.

What the Bay of Kvarner is likely to be in June?

    Is it very choppy?

I have sailed through it a few times and actually, it was a lot better than I was expecting. It was a bit choppy but nothing too bad at all at least not on those occasions. Krilo Eclipse is a wide and very stable ferry https://www.croatiaferries.com/catamaran-ferry-krilo-eclipse/.  In June, we expect nice weather, but of course, no guarantee… In case of really bad weather, the ferry will not sail anyway.
