Ferry to Vis Island from Ancona or Split

We are planing a trip to Europe and we would like to visit Vis Island. We want to go either from Ancona or from Split. Why it takes 11 hours departing from Italy and only 2 hours departing from Split?

Hi Sofia, there are no direct ferries from Ancona to Vis island, you would need to go via Split and change the ferry there.
