We are interested in using the ferry transport from Split to Dubrovnik in May/ June as a pleasant way to get from one place to another instead of a bus.

However, we would need to have our luggage with us.

I would presume that many people do travel this way, but want to ensure that we would be able to transport our bags as well.

Does anyone know what is the luggage allowance for these ferries?

Can you advise pricing for May/ June from Split to Dubrovnik (one way)

Is there somewhere to check in luggage for foot passengers on the Split to Dubrovnik ferry?  Thank you

    Hi Leigh,

Yes, you can take your luggage with you on the ferry from Split to Dubrovnik.

They also take larger luggage, like surfboards and bicycles. There are wide racks (shelves) for large bags when you enter the ferry where you can put your bag/s. If they are very heavy, the crew will help you lift them on the rack. A small bag like a daypack you can keep with you.

The limit (luggage allowance) is 25 kg per bag but they take larger bags too with no extra charge. This should not be an issue at all.

The current timetable and ferry booking are here:

At present we have no confirmation for next year’s timetable or prices, however, my guess is it will be very similar to this year.

The price for one way from Split to Dubrovnik ferry is currently about 30 Euro.

Does anyone know if we buy a ticket from Split to Dubrovnik, can we break our journey on Hvar for a couple of days, or do we need to buy separate tickets for each leg of the journey?

    Thanks

Just wanting to ensure that we can bring luggage with us on the TP Line or any ferry going from Split direct to Dubrovnik.

As well, there are bathrooms on board the ferries? Thanks in advance!

Yes, you can bring luggage on ferries from Split to Dubrovnik and on any other ferry in Croatia.

And yes, there are bathrooms on these ferries.

Here is a photo of passengers with luggage, leaving the ferry:
