    We are from Alberta, Canada and travelling to Croatia for a holiday. We are staying on Vis Island on the night of September 2 and would like to know what the time of departure from Split is (I think it is 20:00) and what the fare would be for two adults, and also the name of the ferry.

    We would be returning on September 5 from Vis to Split and I think the departure time is 7:00. What would the fare be for this leg as well.

    Also, as our flight (Croatia Airlines flight 380) is arriving at 15:25, and we need to catch a taxi to the ferry terminal, is it necessary to reserve seating to ensure that we don’t have to spend the night of September 2 on the Split waterfront (Just kidding)!

    I was wondering if it would be necessary for a group of three people traveling without a car to book ferry tickets in advance. 

    We would like to take the ferry from Split to Vis roundtrip May 28- May 31.

    hi kevin, no advance booking is available for this local ferry line.

    you should be ok, we do not expect this ferry will be overbooked.

    Ferry price query – Does the price of a return ferry ticket for a car (Split to Vis = 308 euros) include passengers or is this extra?

    The prices are in HRK which is Kuna, Croatian currency , not euro.

    308 Kn for car + foot passanger (driver) is extra + any other passanger is extra
