I would like to travel by ferry from Venice to Silba on 31st July / 1st August.

I have tried to navigate the websites for ferries and the best route seems to be Venice-Mali Losinj followed by Mali Losinj-Silba.

    The latter ferry seems available.

However, for the former oneĀ  Venice-Mali Losinj, it seems services have been discontinued:

Please could anyone give any information on this or suggest an alternative route?

Yes, according to published schedules by Venezia Lines and Adriatic Lines ferry companies, Venice to Mali Losinj is not running this year.

You can always double-check with them just in case they change their mind but for time being, they did not announce this route.

An alternative would be any ferry to Istria, ideally to Pula: https://www.croatiaferries.com/venice-pula-ferry.htm and then change to Pula to Silba ferry https://www.croatiaferries.com/pula-silba-ferry.htm

If the dates of travel don’t match the timetables, check available dates for ferries to Porec or Rovinj and from there, get on a local bus or taxi to Pula.

Bear in mind that Pula to Silba is an early morning ferry (07:00) with no later departures.

Also, you can consider taking this ferry as part of another alternative route involving the ferry to Istria and this ferry to Cres https://www.croatiaferries.com/brestova-porozina-ferry.htm + Losinj ferries to Silba, but this is a more time-consuming alternative.

The simplest and fastest option is Venice – Pula ferry + Pula – Silba ferry. This involves overnight in Pula.
