I am looking to find details about Hvar town to Pakleni islands ferry, catamaran, or water taxi routes that include timetables, ticket prices, and return ticket options to visit the archipelago. I am particularly interested in Palmizana and Sveti Jerolim.

Is there such a schedule or is it a random ferry service?

The distance from Hvar town to Pakleni islands is so small (between 10 to 20 minutes fast speedboat ride) and it is so a popular route that a specific timetable is actually not needed as boats are leaving all the time.

All you have to do is just to get to the Hvar port https://www.croatiaferries.com/hvar-ferry-port.htm and see the line of numerous water taxis waiting there and get on the first one.

They usually leave every few minutes in the high season, and at least once an hour in shoulder season. In off-season and winter, they rarely operate.

The skipper will tell you when and from which spot they will pick you up (usually Jerolim and Palmizana)  to get back from Pakleni to the town.

This service is run by fairly small boats, up to 10 meters long. Some of them are speed boats but some are slower old-fashioned wooden boats.

You can get a one-way ticket but usually, people buy a return one. The return ticket to Jerolim / Palmizana is about 15 euros.
