    Hi I want to take the car ferry to Mljet in June Prapratno to Sobra
    I have found that jadrolinija run ferry but I can’t see anywhere to book
    Does anyone know if I need to pre book with it being high season

    i’m afraid it is not possible at the present to pre book any of the local car ferries

    I’m planning to take the ferry, with my car, from Prapratno to Sobra in the coming 10th July (Sunday) at 13h00 and go back in the same day at 19h00.

    I saw it’s not possible to book in advance. I’d be coming from Dubrovnik (so 60km – 1 hour driving).

    Do you see is there a chance not to find room in the ferry?

    Can I book the ticket earlier in Dubrovnik?

    In ultimate case, how much earlier I need to be in Prapratno to assure that I’ll have room

    It is difficult to say but in my opinion if you come to Prapratno about 90 minutes prior to departure, you should be able to secure place on the ferry. No advance place reservation is available from anywhere else. You have to come to the port and place your car in the queue.
