I’d like to travel to Mali Iz from Zadar with car and bicycle?

Is it possible that I can go with “Ferry route 405, connecting ferry port Rava with Mala Rava, Veli Iz, Mali Iz, Zadar”?!

    Thanks for the answer, Gery

As this is a foot-passenger only ferry, cars are not permitted on board

Rava and Iz islands in Zadar Archipelago for someone with bicycle?

Looking for small island somewhere chilled, quiet and beautiful near Zadar to visit this spring.
Rava and Iz island have caught my eye. The only thing is I plan to bring my bicycle , will not drive and I’m not interested in scooters. Are these two islands which are relatively flat and easy to cycle around?
I can see there are ferries that sail there almost every day, do they all take bicycles?
Are there naturally shady beaches? I would hate being stuck near a bar pumping out loud music while you use their umbrella and sunbed.

Is there enough quiet accommodation to rent a room for few days?

    Doria,
Re: Are these two islands which are relatively flat and easy to cycle around?

Both islands are fairly suitable for cycling, not too flat but not too steep.

Island of Iz highest elevation is 168 m (551 ft) . If you have a look at the map, you can see there are plenty of country roads to cycle around

Similar is Rava Island, which is a much smaller island with about 120 permanent inhabitants. It is separated by the narrow channel from Iz Island.

The area is just under 4 km2 while Iz is about 18 km2 and has about 700 permanent inhabitants.

Rava may be a bit quieter, has lovely bays and is a bit flatter than Iz, about 90 m is the highest elevation.

But regardless of that, both islands are good for cycling. I would suggest you to take either a hybrid or mountain bike, as most of the country lanes are tarmac.

Some of them do, some others don’t. Most foot passenger ferries do not take bicycles unless they are packed in bicycle bags, although some ferries do take them – depending on the crew, the vessel, and company policies.

The easiest thing is to get there by car ferry that takes all kind of vehicles including scooters and bicycles:

I like this video from the area, have a look to get the impression how it looks there

re: Is there enough quiet accommodation to rent a room for few days on Iž and Rava?

The beautiful small islands of Iž and Rava are among the smallest inhabited islands in Croatia, located near Zadar and Kornati national park.
They are often missed by tourists looking for more popular destinations.
There is not plenty of accommodation here,  however, I would say there are enough places to stay if you book in advance.
    Just check here: https://www.croatiaferries.com/accommodation/

    Nothing like that there.
