Are there any ferries between Split and Hvar that are accessible for wheelchairs?

If there are, how do you book them because I can’t find any information on the ferry websites?

Maria, I just talked to TP Line and Krilo ferry company, they run the ferry route from Split to Hvar and they told me that all their ferries have wheelchair-accessible ramps.

Also, the crew helps & assists wheelchair passengers to enter and disembark from the ferry.

They also help with settling down in lounge seats or passengers can decide to remain in the wheelchair for the duration of the crossing.

Toilets and coffee bars are also wheelchair accessible.

Thank you so much for your reply. So happy we get to visit Hvar!
Do we have to let the company know that he is in a wheelchair and are all of their boats accessible or just certain ones?

You can get in touch with the ferry company to inform them that you will be arriving at their ferry but it is not obligatory.

Just be in the port well in advance so the crew can see you.

Stay preferably at the beginning of the waiting line so you can be among the first to enter.

The crew will manage and help you with embarkation and disembarkation.

They will also look after you during the journey.

All their boats/ferries/catamarans are fairly new vessels and are wheelchair accessible, this is how they look:

    Catamaran Ferry ‘Puntamika’ (TP Line)

    or

Catamaran Ferry ‘Krilo Carbo’ (Kapetan Luka)

Jadrolinija’s catamaran Jelena is also accessible: https://www.croatiaferries.com/catamaran-ferry-jelena-jadrolinija/

I went today in the port and took a photo of the entry ramp (also a wheelchair ramp) on one of the ferries:

Also talked with the crew and was told they have a lot of people with disability who used their service, without any difficulties.
