What is the most economical and quickest way to travel from Venice by ferry to Hvar?
We plan to go in July or August of this year and intend to stay for a week and then go back to Venice to get a flight home from there.
Has anyone travelled recently on the ferry from Venice to Hvar island?
I am getting a report that this service has been discontinued, any help appreciated.

If you are asking if there is a ferry from Venice to Hvar –
There is no direct connection from Venice to Hvar. However, you can take the ferry to Pula, from there take ferry to Zadar, bus to Split, then take the ferry to Hvar.

Yes, a lot of people travel between Venice and Hvar but there is no direct ferry connection.

Price for this Venice to Hvar trip:

    1. Venice to Pula ferry € 89
    2. Pula to Zadar ferry € 26
    3. Zadar to Split bus € 17
    4. Split to Hvar ferry € 18

    Total: € 150

    Itinerary:

    1. Venice to Pula ferry – 3 hours, depart afternoon, arrive evening (overnight in Pula)
    2. Pula to Zadar ferry – 5 hours, depart morning
    3. Zadar to Split bus – 3 hours, depart midday
    4. Split to Hvar ferry – 1 hour, depart afternoon

Total time: 12 hours + overnight and waiting time, I would say expect a total of 24 hrs ferry& bus trip

    Here is a map:
