Rijeka-Dubrovnik and Pula-Zadar Ferry Service Reintroduced

Reintroduction of coastal ferry service Rijeka – Split – Hvar – Korcula – Mljet – Dubrovnik as well as Pula to Zadar ferries:

23.12.2016 – Travellers along the Adriatic coast of Croatia will now have more choice. The Croatian government yesterday decided to reintroduce the coastal ferry line 101 sailing from Rijeka in the north via Split, Hvar, Korcula and Mljet to Dubrovnik in the south.

In addition, they will also reintroduce the Pula to Zadar ferry line. Now both lines will run all year around, not just during the summer.

We will announce a start date, timetables and vessel as soon as we get it. At the present we know in the winter the lines will run at least once a week, while in summer months it will be between 2 and 5 times a week. Stay tuned for more updates..

The total of other 53 other ferry lines will have increased capacity and frequency that will provide a better connection to the islands.

Amongst others, this includes ferries to Korcula island that will now increase its capacity by 50 passengers per line all year around.

The Ploce to Trpanj ferry line high season capacity will now increase from 50 to 140 vehicles.

In 2015, the ferry line no 101 sailing from Rijeka to Dubrovnik via Split, Hvar, Korcula and Mljet was suspended, with Jadrolinija‘s flagship Liburnija scraped.
