I’d like to know the timetable and fare from Praprano to Sobra in July with a car on Wednesday July 18th, return with the car on Saturday July 21st.
I understand cars can be only on a specific ferry but the timetable doesn’t says which ferry crosses at what time.

All Prapratno to Sobra ferries is car as well as passenger ferries so you can embark on any one by your car.

Here are some photos of the ferry so you can see how large is that:

I am wondering if we can leave Dubrovnik on the early morning high speed ferry (7:30 ish) ; get off at Korcula; spend the day there and then get on a ferry in the late afternoon heading to Split.
Would that be one ferry company or two?

Hi Mary, you can do this with three ferry companies: TP Line, Jadrolinija and/or Krilo.
Their fast ferries are very similar (as in below photo one).

All options are bookable via a specific crossing page – just click on the orange booking button and proceed with the date and destination selection.

Is there any express or direct ferry service from Dubrovnik to Split in June. We were hoping to travel by sea rather than bus but need to get to split by late afternoon.

you can take morning ferry run by krilo – book your ferry here:

my name is Camila and I'am travelling with my best friend to Croatia in July. We were looking for information about ferries from Hvar to Dubrovnik. How much do they cost per person and what are the schedules?

Timetable and prices for ferries from Hvar to Dubrovnik are listed on this page

Try to search in the search box to see if there are ferries available now.

It may be that the ferry company did not update its schedule yet, so get back in a few weeks to see if schedules are available.

I am looking to go on holiday to Bol in June this year with my partner, getting there via a flight to Split then the ferry from Split to Supetar then bus from Supetar to Bol. I was wondering if the ferry would need to be pre booked as I could not find information on whether this is the case. The flight inbound would get in at 10.00 am local time and we are unsure which ferry we would get. So I am asking whether we would need to pre book or just simply buy a ticket and walk straight onto the ferry?

No need to pre book your ferry, just take a bus from the airport to Split ferry port (situated in the centre of the town) and get on ferry from Split to Supetar https://www.croatiaferries.com/split-supetar-ferry.htm ; get your ticket in port at ticket kiosk once you arrive there.

Me and 3 other girls are travelling round Croatia in mid July this year. We are wondering what the best route is to get round Hvar, Vis and Brač starting from Split. To do this via ferry would you recommend booking the journeys in advance?

See all ferry routes from Split to Hvar, Vis and Brac here:
    https://www.croatiaferries.com/split-ferry-port.htm
It is definitely recommended to book ferries in advance for July travel.

Ferry ride to Spit – Stari Grad for a small car + two people on the island of Hvar
We would like to travel on June 5, 2017 morning at 11am. Split -Stari Grand and back on June 6, 2017 on the other ferry to get back after midday at 15pm to the mainland to Croatia, route Sucuraj- Drevenik (I did not understand the reservation, can you help?)
How can I make a reservation or can I get tickets and pay in the port?

There is no advance booking available for local car ferry lines, it is first come first served ferry service.

Once you arrive in your port just buy your ferry ticket there.

What is the best way to go from Plitvička jezera to Rab without a car ?! This forum is about ferries and my trip does include ferries but I would also like to know about busses? All I found is too complicated…

Did you consider to take bus from Plitvice to Rijeka and catamaran ferry to Rab?

    bus booking is here:

Is the weather warm enough to just reserve seating on the deck?
    Do the seats recline?
If we need a cabin, can we upgrade once we are on the ferry?
Is a blanket provided if needed?

If you buy deck passenger ticket you can still use inside cafe, salon and restaurant so if you are cold just get inside.
Some seats recline but not all of them.
Yes, you can book cabin on spot, subject to availability.
To the best of my knowledge, blankets are not provided for deck passengers.

Ich hab Interesse an die Reise Dubrovnik-Bari von 28.08.2017 bis 31.09.2017 mit Fähre, aber ich hab einige Fragen dazu. Also, ich will mit meiner Familie reisen.

That price include deck passenger tickets. If you need cabin, then choose your cabin type while booking your ferry.

Yes, you can pay by credit card.

Direct booking link is here, just follow instructions and fill your details: https://ssl.directferries.com/ferry/secure/multi_price_detail.aspx?stdc=F1578&grid=0&rfid=563&psgr=1&curr=2&retn=False&rfidr=0

My boyfriend and I will be visiting from the US and staying on the island of Brac. As we are renting a car we would like to book a ferry from Split to Supetar on June 4th and return on June 6th. I am wondering if I am able to book this in advance and if so, how do I proceed?

We are travelling to Croatia for the first time.  We will be driving on May 11 from Split and going to Kuciste.
Can you please tell me the number of the  car ferry we need to take and where we go to get on it.  Also, can we buy the tickets in advance? How much will they cost, including the car?

Hi Kelly, to reach Kuciste, which is on Peljesac, you don’t have to take any ferry as Split and Kuciste are located on the Croatian mainland.

However, to shorten your drive you can take if you wish ferry from Ploce to Trpanj – see schedules and prices here: https://www.croatiaferries.com/ploce-trpanj-ferry.htm
see the location map of Kuciste and Ploce / Trpanj ferry ports here:

    Croatia Ferries Map

You can not buy tickets in advance for any of the local car ferries, you buy tickets on the spot, in the port itself.

UPDATE: Since the opening of the Peljesac bridge (in 2022), you can cross to Peljesac via the bridge and drive to Kuciste. It takes a shorter time than crossing by ferry from Ploce to Trpanj.

I am trying to obtain information in relation to travelling from Zadar to any of these locations Pula, Piran, Trieste or any port with in the vicinity of these locations.

Zadar to Pula ferry is now in operation all year round

Once in Pula, get on the bus to Rovinj to catch a ferry to Trieste:

Alternatively, take a bus from Zadar to Rijeka and change there for Trieste  – see details and get a quote/ book here:

We are planning a trip to Croatia in September 2017. We are planning to drive around Istria and then would like to take a ferry from Rijeka to Split. I just saw that the ferry route was re-introduced in 2017 but there is no additional information about the ferries going in September. Would very much appreciate a pointer to the schedule and the price of the tickets.

At the present we have no further info about re-introduction of this ferry line. I suggest you to plan an alternative route from Rijeka to Split (by bus https://www.travel-file.com/rijeka-split-buses.htm)

My wife and I wish to use the Prapratno – Sobra ferry, leaving at 13:00 on Thursday 15th June. We therefore need 2no foot passenger single tickets. Is it possible to pay in advance and book seats now, or do we have to come to the Jadrolinija office in Prapratno on 15th June and buy the tickets then?
We are concerned the ferry may be full and we will not get on unless we pre-book our tickets.

No advance booking is available for these ferries, it is first come first serve service. It is a large ferry and it is very unlikely it will be so full that you will not get your place. yes, you buy your ticket on the spot in the port.

Please can you advise if I can book the car ferry from Zadar to Mali Losinj on Thursday 10th of August 2017.I am keen to book accommodation on the island but need to know if I can have space on the ferry before I book!

The Car Ferry route 401 you need from Zadar to Mali Losinj https://www.croatiaferries.com/zadar-malilosinj-ferry.htm is run by Jadrolinija ferry company and unfortunately, they do not provide advance bookings for local car ferries.

Try to contact their Zadar office for possible further advice: Zadar + 385 23 254 800, E-mail ag.zadar@jadrolinija.hr

We're 5 American girls looking to fly into Dubrovnik, spend a day there, then take a ferry to Hvar.
What ferry option should we be looking at, how much does it cost, and can we buy these tickets in advance?
We're looking at taking this ferry on July 27th, and returning from Hvar to Dubrovnik on possibly July 30th.
